We are hiring! M&G RENO, a reputable Residential and Commercial Property Renovation Contractor having customers spreading across the Maritimes is always looking to add talented professionals to our team. We are actively recruiting renovation carpenters
The right candidate will be reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently without supervision and with others as a team.
We offer competitive pay, a vehicle equipped with carpentry tools and consistent hours.
Skills should include:
- Proven experience as a finish carpenter
- Demolition work
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets and prep for painting
- Interior trim & baseboards finish work
- Cabinetry installation and repairs
- Sanding and painting
- Flooring installation and finish
- Fit and install windows, Window casings, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
- Repair and renovate residential and commercial properties.
- Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
- Plaster walls and ceilings
- An eye for proportion and details. Artisans’ carpentry would be considered an asset.
- Add design finishes flourishes to window and door trim
- Install and dress up baseboards & crown moldings.
- Build quality decks, gazebos and other yard structural.

Working Conditions
Working conditions vary from one job to another. You can expect to work both indoor and outdoor during the four seasons. Standard work hours are 40 per week. As with many careers in construction, there are peak periods that will require you to work overtime and will vary from one job to the next.
You may be required to work alone, in teams, or with helpers. The job can be physically demanding. You will often have to lift heavy materials and work with sharp tools.
We take safety in the workplace very seriously. You will be required to take training to work safely and take special precautions to protect yourself and co-workers against injury.
Experience
Carpentry & Renovations – minimum 5 years
